South Korea&#8217;s Kospi rose 0.78% and the small-cap Kosdaq climbed 0.44%.<\/p>\n<p>Australia&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.AXJO\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">S&amp;P\/ASX 200<\/a> rose 0.12%.<\/p>\n<p>Hong Kong markets are poised to slip slightly with futures tied to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.HSI\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hang Seng index<\/a> at 23,132, compared to the benchmark&#8217;s last close of 23,258.31.<\/p>\n<p>Investors are expected to keep an eye on the Bank of Korea&#8217;s meeting decision later in the day, as well as Asian chip stocks, after\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/NVDA\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nvidia<\/a>\u00a0posted stronger-than-expected earnings and revenue Wednesday, driven by a 73% year-over-year surge in its data center business.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/05\/27\/stock-market-today-live-updates.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S. futures <\/a>rose, buoyed by the court ruling and strong earnings report from artificial intelligence heavyweight\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/NVDA\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nvidia<\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/@SP.1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Futures tied to the S&amp;P 500<\/a>\u00a0jumped 1.44%, while\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/@ND.1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nasdaq 100 futures<\/a>\u00a0gained 1.76%.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/@DJ.1\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dow Jones Industrial Average futures<\/a>\u00a0added 483 points, or 1.15%.<\/p>\n<p>Overnight, the three major stock averages closed lower as investors parsed the latest earnings reports and Federal Reserve meeting minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.SPX\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">S&amp;P 500<\/a>\u00a0slid 0.56% to end at 5,888.55, while the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.IXIC\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nasdaq Composite<\/a>\u00a0shed 0.51% and settled at 19,100.94.
