SO FAR SO GOOD IN THE STRATH: No official sightings says Saving Scotland’s Red Squirrels but is that set to change?<\/p>\n

Local red squirrel supporters in the strath were alarmed at the thought of the \u2018thin end of the wedge\u2019 appearing in the area, which is famed as the last bastion of the truly \u2018red\u2019 squirrel in and around Rothiemurchus and Inshriach.<\/p>\n
Paul Wells advised: \u201cReds can look like greys this time of year, ear tufts are the give away, reds have ear tufts. This picture is not clear enough, but it does look like a grey, unfortunately.\u201d<\/p>\n
