Inform your closest member of SSRS staff that you have done so.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVolunteering with Saving Scotland\u2019s Red Squirrels is a fantastic way to connect with nature and support your local area\u2019s special native wildlife. Our volunteers are provided with the training and resources they need to participate\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Local red squirrel supporters in the strath were alarmed at the thought of the \u2018thin end of the wedge\u2019 appearing in the area, which is famed as the last bastion of the truly \u2018red\u2019 squirrel in and around Rothiemurchus and Inshriach.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Wells advised: \u201cReds can look like greys this time of year, ear tufts are the give away, reds have ear tufts.
