Having secured an 11th-place finish in his first campaign in charge in the West Country, the 39-year-old ended City’s 17-year wait for a top six Championship finish last season.<\/p>\n Ultimately, the Reds fell short of winning promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs as they suffered a record 6-0 aggregate defeat<\/a> to Sheffield United.
