The \u201cPrincess of Montecito<\/a>\u201d isn\u2019t as beloved as her Prince. <\/p>\n

Meghan Markle\u2019s bitter neighbor claimed that she doesn\u2019t really \u201cfit in\u201d with the Montecito, Calif., crowd \u2014 but that her husband, Prince Harry, is much more \u201capproachable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richard Mineards<\/a> recalled Markle allegedly turning away a local elderly historian who wanted to gift her a copy of his documentary about the ritzy area when the couple first moved in.<\/p>\n

The local resident claimed that the Duchess of Sussex, 43, has cultivated a \u201cvery controlled image.\u201d <\/p>\n

Mineads pointed out that Markle\u2019s pal and neighbor, Oprah Winfrey, has attended community charity events, but that the \u201cWith Love, Meghan\u201d host has yet to show up in the same way. <\/p>\n

Markle has allegedly \u201cnever tried to fit in\u201d with the inhabitants of the Santa Barbara County town.<\/p>\n

On the flip side, Mineards praised Harry, 40, as being warm and welcoming with the locals.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is always charming, approachable, with that very recognizable Windsor accent. He smiles, shakes hands, willingly exchanges a few words,\u201d he said. \u201cWe\u2019ve seen him at the beach, in an organic coffee shop, or cycling in the hills.\u201d <\/p>\n

Two years later, reports surfaced that her neighbors dubbed Markle the \u201cPrincess of Montecito.\u201d<\/p>\n
