Alex G<\/a> has announced a new album. His 10th studio LP, Headlights<\/a>, arrives July 18 via RCA<\/a>\u2014marking his official debut<\/a> on the major label. Leading the record is the new single \u201cAfterlife<\/a>,\u201d which comes with a music video directed by Charlotte Rutherford<\/a>. Watch that below.<\/p>\n

The follow-up to 2022\u2019s God Save the Animals<\/a> is billed as a collection of \u201cabsurd twists and mundane milestones\u201d that draw on the same Americana influences as Alex G\u2019s previous record.<\/p>\n

Later this year, Alex G heads out on a North American tour<\/a> featuring support from Nil\u00fcfer Yanya. The two artists will play shows together in September and October, making stops in a lot of major cities. Before then, Alex G will also perform at summer festivals including Newport Folk Festival and Outbreak Festival.<\/p>\n
