SHEFFIELD UNITED are currently in talks with former Liverpool ace Rhian Brewster regarding his future.<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old’s contract is due to expire next month and he is yet to negotiate an extension.<\/p>\n

As things stand, his future is currently up in the air, with Sheffield United<\/a> seeking a resolution.<\/p>\n

A club statement read: “The club are in discussions with Rhian Brewster, whilst the rest of the first team squad remain under contract.”<\/p>\n

The Blades confirmed that no first team players have been released, with Jack Robinson triggering a one-year contract extension.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, loanees Alfie Gilchrist, Rob Holding<\/a>, Harry Soutter, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi, Harry Clarke, Ben Brereton Diaz<\/a> and Hamza Choudhury will return to their parent clubs.<\/p>\n

Development squad players Harry Boyes, Ethan Cummings, Mekhi Haughton-Parris and Henry Molyneux have been let go.<\/p>\n

The former England Under-21 international has made 119 appearances for Sheffield United since joining from Liverpool<\/a> in a \u00a323.5million transfer five years ago.<\/p>\n

During that time, Brewster has scored just nine goals.<\/p>\n
