A Walton venue, that prides itself on making the city’s “best smash burgers”, catered for LFC players after the team lifted the Premier League<\/a> trophy. Woffle first opened on County Road back in 2023.<\/p>\n

Since then, it has amassed a loyal customer base with several videos of the brand’s creations going viral with over two million views and thousands of Instagram likes. The fast-food spot also previously made it onto The Burger Reviews series’ Top 10 takeaways across the country.<\/p>\n

However, more recently, Woffle has been “feeding the best with the best”, serving the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Luiz Diaz, Ryan Jiro Gravenberch, Arne Slot and Virgil Van Dijk following the Reds draw with Crystal Palace.<\/a><\/p>\n

Taking to Instagram to share footage of the after-party, held on Sunday, May 25, Woffle said: “Feeding the champions with the best food in Liverpool. We loved being a part of Liverpool FC’s celebrations on Sunday and hope you all enjoyed the food.”<\/p>\n

Woffle promises an “unparalleled burger experience”, with everything being freshly made with quality ingredients and halal.<\/a><\/p>\n

The ECHO previously visited the site to put its bold claim to the test<\/a>. Our reporter, Ellen, treated herself to a midweek smash burger, a homemade cheesecake and a double bacon cheese burger.<\/p>\n

She said: “It includes double smashed beef patties, cheese, turkey bacon, lettuce, pickles, onion and Woffle’s house sauce served on a seeded brioche bun and is priced at \u00a311.50.<\/p>\n

“My partner went all out and ordered the triple for \u00a314.95. Although, full disclosure, in my hungry excitement when the delivery came, I tucked into the triple and only realised half way through.<\/p>\n

“Price wise, it’s expensive, considering that you need to order a side and a drink separately. I also would have preferred more lettuce and onion on my burger but I preferred the turkey bacon to pork as it seemed thicker and crispier than usual.<\/p>\n

“Despite being in need of more greenery, I couldn’t have enjoyed it more. As greedy as three patties sounds, because they’re smashed and squished thinly, they’re surprisingly not too filling and the texture is tender in the middle with a super crispy edge.<\/p>\n

“Flavour wise, the burger was packed with meaty juices but not so much that it left me with a messy handful. It was the perfect amount, paired with the sauce which had a hint of gherkin and a slight sweetness. The burger did manage to stay together and not spill over the sides.<\/p>\n

“Is this the best burger I’ve ever had in Liverpool? Now that my previous favourite Frost Burgers<\/a>, on Wood Street, is closed, I’m going to say yes – but there is room for improvement with the lack of lettuce. The chips weren’t up to much, not crispy enough and despite being “peri peri” flavoured , actually needed a lot of sauce because the flavour wasn’t all there.<\/p>\n

“Overall, if Woffle carried on expanding their “artisan burger an homemade dessert” selection which they claim they’re renowned for, I think they’re onto a winner.
