A famous fast food chain<\/a> has decided to close all of its restaurants<\/a> after a decade in business. Chick \u2018n\u2019 Sours, a popular Korean fried chicken spot, will shut the doors of the final two venues on Sunday, leaving all its customers \u201cdevastated. \u201c<\/p>\n

The restaurants in Haggerston and Seven Dials in London have been closed as the owner declared that running the eateries was “no longer viable”. However, it will continue to be available on Deliveroo with a possibility of appearing at the UK festivals and live music events, reports The Sun<\/a>. Founded by David Wolanski and Carl Clarke at Latitude, the food chain earned a devoted fan base with its bold and flavour-packed fried chicken.<\/p>\n

Co-founder David Wolanski wrote on Instagram<\/a>: \u201cWe do what we do because we love it, fueled by passion and a desire to provide guests with awesome food and memorable dining experiences. But that\u2019s no longer enough these days.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe hung in there as long as we could but I\u2019m afraid we\u2019ve now reached the point where operating the two restaurants just isn\u2019t viable anymore and it makes no commercial sense to continue. The casual dining restaurant model is broken, but that\u2019s for another post.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Wolanski urged the hospitality sector to contact his restaurant staff members who are now looking for work.<\/p>\n

He also encouraged his fans to dine at other independent venues. He said: “Remember, there are so many awesome independent restaurants out there doing great things but finding it tough out there also.”<\/p>\n

“We know things are tight for everyone, but they need you.<\/p>\n

“Go see them and spend your money with them, as the phrase \u2018use it or lose it\u2019 has never been so relevant.\u201d<\/p>\n

The news has left many of its customers heartbroken. One of the users commented on the post: \u201cNooo! We love Chick\u2019n sours. Please write a cook book. We will support you any way we can.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another user commented: \u201cYou will be so missed. I have been a huge fans as you know from the beginning. Gutted, you are closing the restaurants but will make sure I visit the truck and pop ups.\u201d<\/p>\n

A third user chimed in: \u201cI am devastated. Our favourite food to get delivered. We discovered the place before Covid<\/a>, kept ordering right throughout, and had literally hundreds of orders over the years.
