The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autosport.com\/team\/sauber\/36476\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sauber<\/a> driver told critics to \u201cstop crying\u201d about the historic track, which plays host to notoriously dull races given how difficult it is to overtake there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don&#8217;t always understand that drama around it,\u201d he told reporters in Barcelona on Thursday. \u201cPeople know it&#8217;s going to happen, and then they complain anyway. So, it&#8217;s something I don&#8217;t really spend too much time and energy [thinking] about,\u201d he went on. \u201cIf you want to do better, you just have to qualify better. Stop crying.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The conversation comes amid Grand Prix Drivers&#8217; Association (GPDA) president Alex Wurz <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autosport.com\/f1\/news\/how-to-change-the-monaco-circuit-without-breaking-the-bank\/10727350\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">offering multiple suggestions to make the race more entertaining<\/a>, following the mandatory two-stop rule that was implemented last weekend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery year we have this,\u201d continued Hulkenberg. \u201cAnd while my Grand Prix wasn&#8217;t very exciting \u2026 I feel Monaco has always been a bit like that to some extent.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLooking at the grandstands and the terraces, I think it was as busy as I&#8217;ve ever seen it. And in terms of guests and in terms of celebrities people still like it, it seems,\u201d the German continued. \u201cBut when was the spectacular Monaco Grand Prix? Maybe there are a couple of ideas between all involved in the sport we can think of for Monaco, but I don&#8217;t think there is any need to think of anything.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is only because there is a lot of content to be created\u00a0now and we drivers are too nice so we answer every question.
