When I started Mounjaro, I felt ashamed. I didn\u2019t want people to think I\u2019d cheated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Marianne was scared she\u2019d fail again, so the 41-year-old turned to Mounjaro as a medical aid.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/1_coverimages54799609.jpg\" alt=\"Marianne Bell before the weight loss transformation\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Marianne Bell before the weight loss transformation(Image: Cover Images)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She\u2019s now lost 6st 3lb (40kg), dropping from 15st (96kg) to 8st 7lb and she no longer stays silent about how she did it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Marianne has said she views fat loss drugs like Mounjaro as medical treatments, not vanity tools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She pointed out that people are not shamed for using insulin or inhalers, she questioned \u201cwhy should this be different?\u201d Adding that \u201cthe stigma is what keeps people stuck\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Marianne explained that this \u201cisn\u2019t the easy way out\u201d. Mounjaro is \u201cjust one tool\u201d and you \u201cstill have to show up, do the work, and heal from the inside out\u201d, she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She added: \u201cYou don\u2019t owe anyone an explanation. You\u2019re allowed to do this quietly. You\u2019re allowed to get help. Should I eat that? What\u2019s wrong with me?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She explained that she felt as though food had control over my brain and it was exhausting for her.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Mounjaro, she said, didn\u2019t just help with appetite, the prescription also quieted the chaos in her head.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She added that her real transformation was deeper than diet &#8211; and this was a welcome side effect of Mounjaro.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She said: \u201cFor the first time, I had space to think about things that mattered. I could feel hunger and fullness again instead of guilt and chaos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cThe biggest shift wasn\u2019t physical, it was emotional. I&#8217;ve learned to love my body, even with imperfections. I\u2019d eat to numb. But I didn\u2019t. I let myself feel it. That was a breakthrough. I proved to myself I could face pain without food.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">She is now in the maintenance phase and, while fearing weight will creep back on, has worked to control her anxieties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cI didn\u2019t do this for anyone else. I did it for me,\u201d she said. She says the messages she receives from followers on TikTok often bring her to tears.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">And while she spends her day working in financial services, the rest of her time is used to coach other women to escape cycles of emotional eating and self-sabotage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">\u201cI\u2019ve always been drawn to coaching and mentoring,\u201d she said. \u201cBut it was through my own journey that I found my real purpose.
