Leeds United need to make some serious upgrades on their squad as they head back to the Premier League.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Whites aren\u2019t quite ready for the Premier League yet, and a few players do need upgrading and depth needs adding.<\/p>\n

One big area of concern at Leeds is the goalkeeping situation.<\/p>\n

Illan Meslier was heavily criticised<\/a> the last time he was in the Premier League, and he\u2019s continued to make mistakes in the Championship.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Karl Darlow has been solid<\/a> since joining Leeds, but he\u2019s not quite Premier League quality.<\/p>\n

Luckily, the transfer window is just around the corner, and Leeds could be set to make some moves very soon.<\/p>\n

According to The Mail<\/a>, Leeds United are considering a few goalkeeping options.<\/p>\n

Caoimhin Kelleher is an option for Leeds, and Gary Kelly believes Kelleher could be a great signing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

On top of that, Leeds also have their eyes on Sam Johnstone.<\/p>\n

However, perhaps most intriguingly, Leeds are interested in signing Aaron Ramsdale from Southampton.<\/p>\n

The England international has just been relegated with the Saints one year on from his \u00a318m<\/a> move from Arsenal.<\/p>\n

Ramsdale has been linked to Man Utd<\/a> recently, but now, Leeds are keen on the goalkeeper.<\/p>\n

Ramsdale may well be tempted by a move to Leeds.<\/p>\n

After all, the goalkeeper is a Yorkshireman and this offers him an immediate return to the Premier League.<\/p>\n

However, if Ramsdale is to join Leeds, he may have to mend his relationship with the fans.<\/p>\n

Leeds fans haven\u2019t been so kind to Ramsdale over the years, and speaking on Ben Foster\u2019s Podcast, the goalkeeper shared how he actually had coins thrown at him during a game at one point at Elland Road.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter the first [goal], there were some bottles and stuff thrown\u2026 a few lighters, and I chucked them off to the side. The next thing you know, money started coming on\u2026 I\u2019m looking around and there was one \u00a32. Well, I collect \u00a32s, so I took that,\u201d Ramsdale said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen there\u2019s quids and 50ps, so I\u2019m picking them up and I put them by my towel, [then] at half time I put them in my towel, I run off and put them in the changing room. Second half comes, a few more come, and then an e-cig comes on just before the penalty.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo I\u2019ve gone back in and I\u2019m speaking to Kalvin Phillips, going \u2018your fans must be loaded\u2019 \u2013 it was about \u00a317 I pulled off the pitch. And I\u2019ve missed some money \u2013 I couldn\u2019t pick them all up \u2013 it was about \u00a317 I took back in.\u201d<\/p>\n
