Fans of Nicola Sturgeon<\/a> are being charged \u00a375 to attend a \u201cmeet and greet\u201d with the former first minister ahead of an interview in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n

The fee is on top of ticket prices for the event at the 2200 capacity Usher Hall which stretch to \u00a373.95 including the booking fee<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sturgeon<\/a> quit as First Minister in 2023 after serving in the post longer than any of her predecessors.<\/p>\n

She also announced recently she would stand down from Holyrood at the next election<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram post, she plugged an \u201cevening with Nicola Sturgeon<\/a>\u201d in the Capital in which she would reflect on her career in politics.<\/p>\n

She wrote that the event would be an \u201cin-depth\u201d interview followed by an audience Q+A<\/a>. The website for the event – sturgeonlive.co.uk – also reveals the prices for attendance.<\/p>\n

Depending on the seat, a ticket<\/a> will set back fans between \u00a333.25 to \u00a373.95 including booking fee.<\/p>\n

But this is separate from the \u00a375 plus \u00a37.75 booking fee for the \u201cpre show\u201d meet and greet with the former SNP leader<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It takes place ahead of the publication of her memoirs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The website states: “A limited number of Meet & Greet<\/a> tickets are available, offering a unique opportunity to meet Nicola Sturgeon in person before the event. Don\u2019t miss this rare chance to hear directly from one of the most recognisable voices in UK politics, live on stage in Edinburgh\u2019s iconic Usher Hall.”<\/p>\n

It adds: “In an in-depth interview followed by an audience Q&A<\/a>, she will offer personal insights into leadership, public service, and the challenges and triumphs that have shaped her journey.<\/p>\n

“Nicola<\/a> will also share her thoughts on what lies ahead \u2013 for herself, for Scotland, and for politics more broadly.”<\/p>\n

The event will take place on October 7th<\/a> between 7:30pm and 10:30pm.<\/p>\n

In her register of interest, Sturgeon declared a \u00a375,000 book advance in 2023 – the first of four instalments from Pan Macmillan. She also received \u00a325,000 for appearing on ITV’s general election results show.<\/p>\n
