This &#8220;humble&#8221; Scottish port city&#8217;s is celebrated for its people, who have an &#8220;irresistible charm&#8221; and &#8220;enthusiastic imagination&#8221;, according to Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller&#8217;s top 10.<\/p>\n<p>With a top score of 97.14 in the same publication&#8217;s Readers&#8217; Choice Awards Survey, <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/uk\/1886487\/glasgow-best-place-to-live-london\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Glasgow<\/a> is equal to <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/latest\/edinburgh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Edinburgh<\/a> for the arts, being the UK&#8217;s first UNESCO City of Music and a base in Scotland for ballet and theatre institutions. <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cntraveller.com\/gallery\/friendliest-cities-in-uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Cond\u00e9 Nast Traveller<\/a>, in its award citation, said the port city &#8220;pulses with the energy of creatives and audiences alike.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Interest in Glasgow comes as the publication invites readers to name their top UK destinations in its 2025 Readers&#8217; Choice Awards Survey.
