A man arrested <\/a>and charged following a string of break-ins at multiple premises across Edinburgh over the course of the last month.<\/p>\n

Officers arrested the 35-year-old after a number of cafes, take-aways and food stores were broken into<\/a> in the Edinburgh city centre, Dalry, and Gorgie areas of the capital.<\/p>\n

The offences took place between Saturday, May 17 and Thursday, May 22, 2025.<\/p>\n

Police Scotland has sent a report to the Procurator Fiscal and the man is expected to appear at Edinburgh’s Sheriff Court on Monday, June 2.<\/p>\n

Detective Sergeant Derek Schulz of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), said: \u201cI would like to thank the public for their assistance during our investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n
