{"id":145079,"date":"2025-05-30T21:10:09","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T21:10:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/145079\/"},"modified":"2025-05-30T21:10:09","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T21:10:09","slug":"bitcoin-etfs-see-358-mln-exit-first-outflow-after-10-day-inflow-streak-ends","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/145079\/","title":{"rendered":"Bitcoin ETFs see $358 mln exit &#8211; First outflow after 10-day inflow streak ends"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Bitcoin ETFs saw $346.8M outflows after a 10-day $4.26B inflow streak.<\/li>\n<li>BlackRock\u2019s IBIT defied the trend, extending its 34-day inflow streak with $125 million.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After a strong 10-day run of consistent inflows totaling over $4.26 billion, U.S. spot <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/bitcoin-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Bitcoin [BTC]<\/a> ETFs faced a sharp reversal with $346.8 million in net outflows as per <a href=\"https:\/\/farside.co.uk\/btc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow external noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Farside Investors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This marks the largest daily withdrawal since 11th March, highlighting renewed investor caution.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin ETF inflows streak breaks<\/p>\n<p>On a day marked by significant outflows from U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, Fidelity\u2019s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) led the exit with $166 million pulled out.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This was followed closely by Grayscale\u2019s GBTC, which saw $107.5 million in net redemptions. <\/p>\n<p>Several other funds, including those from Bitwise, Ark 21Shares, Invesco, Franklin Templeton, and VanEck, also experienced capital flight. <\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, BlackRock\u2019s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) went against the wider market movement by drawing in $125 million in net inflows. <\/p>\n<p>This extended its impressive 34-day streak of daily inflows, with its total inflow nearing $49 billion and assets under management now topping $70 billion.<\/p>\n<p>What about Ethereum ETF?<\/p>\n<p>In contrast to the recent downturn in Bitcoin ETF flows, spot <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/category\/ethereum-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">Ethereum [ETH]<\/a> ETFs continued to attract investor interest, recording $92 million in net inflows on the 29th of May alone. <\/p>\n<p>BlackRock\u2019s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) recorded more than $50 million in fresh inflows, raising its total to $4.5 billion since launching in July 2024. <\/p>\n<p>Seeing this, ETF Store President Nate Geraci had mentioned that this activity coincides with a broader trend, as over the past five weeks, Bitcoin ETFs have attracted more than $9 billion, while gold ETFs have seen nearly $3 billion in outflows.<\/p>\n<p>CryptoQuant founder believes\u2026<\/p>\n<p>With Bitcoin\u2019s price slipping from $111K to <a href=\"https:\/\/coinmarketcap.com\/currencies\/bitcoin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow external noreferrer\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">around<\/a> $105,615, the recent market correction may be fueling the shift in ETF momentum.<\/p>\n<p>The evolving market cycle appears to be increasingly driven by growing institutional involvement, particularly following the approval of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs in early 2024. <\/p>\n<p>This shift has reshaped investor sentiment and market dynamics. <\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on this trend, CryptoQuant founder Ji Young Ju <a href=\"https:\/\/ambcrypto.com\/etfs-impact-on-bitcoin-is-the-classic-bull-bear-cycle-over\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\">acknowledged<\/a> a misjudged bear market prediction made in early 2025, only to witness Bitcoin reaching a new all-time high just two months later.<\/p>\n<p>Young Ju put it best when he said,\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt feels like it\u2019s time to throw out that cycle theory.
