Every single year since 2021, Xbox has been giving away Don’t Nod’s Tell Me Why<\/a> for free as part of Pride Month, and that’s exactly what’s happening again in June 2025, with the game already showing as free on the Xbox Store right now.<\/p>\n

Specifically, you’re looking for the “Tell Me Why: Chapters 1-3” version of the game, as it’s split into multiple chapters that continue the story as you progress. Tell Me Why is already included with Xbox Game Pass<\/a> as well, but if you head onto the Xbox Store page for it, you should also see a option to claim the game permanently for free.<\/p>\n

For those who haven’t played it before, Tell Me Why is a narrative adventure game from the same team behind the Life is Strange<\/a> series, and it follows a couple of reunited twins in their quest to “unravel the memories of their loving but troubled childhood”.<\/p>\n

I personally reviewed Tell Me Why for Pure Xbox<\/a> all the way back in 2020, and described it as featuring an “imaginative and emotional tale that isn’t afraid to address mature topics”, but also felt that its slow pace may put some people off.<\/p>\n
