Liverpool are lining up their first sale of the summer transfer window, with a number of clubs interested in taking on second-choice goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher.<\/p>\n
Kelleher has spent several years serving as Alisson’s understudy, and has developed and performed admirably when called upon. He is entering the final year of his contract, and is an attractive option for clubs seeking a new first-choice keeper, such as Brentford, West Ham, or newly-promoted Leeds United.<\/p>\n

Reader Dannioo72000uk says: “We should keep him, he\u2019s certainly worth more than 20 mil.”<\/p>\n Commenter Wudwudley writes: “In today’s market as a proven PL keeper, he should be at least \u00a330m.” Aw01 agrees: “A steal at \u00a320m. Won\u2019t be short of offers.”<\/p>\n CanuckfromBootle says: “Got to be worth at least \u00a330m surely? Still a baby in goalkeeping terms, but so experienced and accomplished. Be sad to see him go.” Moneyballs reckons the market has become distorted: “If Kepa cost \u00a370M, why only \u00a320M for CK? He is a far better keeper! Crazy low figure, worth a lot more!”<\/p>\n Others will be happy enough to see Kelleher thrive as the main man elsewhere. Reader Kellogs1942 writes: “Mr Kelleher. You are a young brilliant goalkeeper. I really enjoyed watching you play for Liverpool. All the very best of good luck in your future endeavours . Thank you.”<\/p>\n AP72 says: “Great keeper. Hope we don\u2019t regret the decision to let him go, has stepped up for us when needed, but good luck to him.”<\/p>\n Kelleher could be used as a bargaining chip for the main attraction for Liverpool, says Fidelis Fautor: “Kelleher probably could have been used to reduce the price of Wirtz by sending him to Leverkusen instead of to a PL rival. I would rather not see him in the Prem because he is far too good a keeper to play against 2 times a season.”<\/p>\n
