Leeds United has yet to receive any answers to the controversy surrounding their 1-0 win at Middlesbrough.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although Daniel Farke\u2019s<\/a> side got back to winning ways, linesman Darren Williams took the spotlight.<\/p>\n

Leeds<\/a> will be thrilled they got back to winning ways, but Ao Tanaka<\/a> and Patrick Bamford\u2019s<\/a> goals being disallowed showed officials are way off it.<\/p>\n

There was fury over Tanaka\u2019s offside<\/a>, and Bamford\u2019s wasn\u2019t any better, as the Whites would\u2019ve no doubt felt hard done by if they had dropped points.<\/p>\n

In good news, the EFL have demoted Williams<\/a>, but insight has now been given into a secret phone call with the PGMOL.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s now been a bit of time since Tuesday night\u2019s affair in what will be a memorable game in more ways than one for Leeds.<\/p>\n

The encounter clearly has found in place in the Whites boss\u2019 head as Farke was fuming after the wrong decisions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

His fury was there for all to see, and you can\u2019t blame him for his response, but now the Leeds manager has revealed some inside talks with the PGMOL.<\/p>\n

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the Whites\u2019 fixture with Preston, Farke has given some interesting inside conversations about the PGMOL\u2019s response.<\/p>\n

\u201cI won\u2019t talk about it in public because that would be a lack of class,\u201d Farke said.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope for good performances from my players, and he hopes for good performance for [his staff.]\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

The state of officiating in this country is clear, and Williams\u2019 choice to flag both as offside was extremely bizarre.<\/p>\n

Both were shockers, but if Tanaka\u2019s goal had stood it would\u2019ve taken needless pressure off the Whites.<\/p>\n

With these errors occurring, it gives more reason why Leeds need promotion, as VAR comes into the picture, which the Championship lacks.<\/p>\n
