As the 49ers add Rangers to their projects alongside Leeds United, there will no doubt be concern from fans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ownership are showing real ambition by taking on Rangers as well as the Whites, and Paraag Marathe<\/a> has got a very busy summer ahead of him.<\/p>\n

Leeds<\/a> fans will hope that full focus remains on his project at Elland Road<\/a>, and it\u2019s been made clear that Leeds and Rangers will remain separate<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With potential links beginning to be built between the two clubs, fans have offered Jack Harrison to Rangers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But the more pressing matter is what happens with the strategy at Leeds, as journalist Adam Pope<\/a> has revealed a fresh update.<\/p>\n

To have the chance to expand their ventures with the Scottish giants is a hard deal to turn down for the 49ers<\/a>, so it doesn\u2019t come as a surprise.<\/p>\n

There will be a clear plan in place with talks being in place for months now, but Marathe\u2019s role at Leeds is bound to shrink.<\/p>\n

Not only will the Whites be worried about another club taking centre-stage, but problems could occur if Leeds get Europe<\/a>, with UEFA rules in place for dual-owned clubs.<\/p>\n

But that is a long-term issue that they will have to handle, but for the here and now, an update has been shared.<\/p>\n

Well-known Leeds journalist Pope has spoken to the Don\u2019t Go To Bed Just Yet podcast about how the Whites will be managed now that Marathe\u2019s role will be smaller than it was.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way that it\u2019s been told to me today is that there is a lot of trust in Robbie Evans (Managing Director),\u201d Pope said.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously, Adam Underwood (Sporting Director) as well, we\u2019ll still see Marathe at games, but his role won\u2019t change, but day to day, it can\u2019t be him.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs far as I\u2019m aware, he\u2019s across everything at Leeds, he\u2019s proper hands-on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adam Underwood has already made mistake which spells trouble for Leeds<\/p>\n

With a new board in place and Leeds now losing Marathe\u2019s day-to-day knowledge, it might become apparent how important the owner is to the club\u2019s ongoing operations.<\/p>\n

It seems like Underwood<\/a> and Evans will have the biggest say in the dealings around the club this summer, and the hope is that everything goes to plan.<\/p>\n

Well, Underwood has already made his first big mistake with Leeds letting Sam Byram go on a free<\/a>.<\/p>\n
