{"id":147189,"date":"2025-05-31T16:04:12","date_gmt":"2025-05-31T16:04:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/147189\/"},"modified":"2025-05-31T16:04:12","modified_gmt":"2025-05-31T16:04:12","slug":"weather-maps-show-exact-day-uk-could-be-hit-by-heavy-rain-downpours-next-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/147189\/","title":{"rendered":"Weather maps show exact day UK could be hit by heavy rain downpours next week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rain has been forecasted to hit most parts of the UK<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/0_231124stormbertmcr2.jpg\" alt=\"People walking down Manchester high street wearing coats and holding umbrellas as it heavily rains\" loading=\"eager\"  \/>Rain is forecasted for most of the UK on Thursday next week(Image: Sean Hansford | Manchester Evening News)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Weather maps are showing that the UK could be hit by a mass downpour of rain next week, with almost no part of the country missing the showers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">WXCHARTS maps, aided by Metdesk data, have forecasted that a huge downpour of rain could hit England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland on Thursday, 5 June.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The downpour is expected for much of the country around midday, the Express <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/weather\/2062489\/uk-weather-maps-show-england\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Maps show that almost all of the country will be hit at some point with showers as rain moves eastwards throughout the day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">Lucky areas that could stay dry include the south coast of East Sussex, Kent and Devon. The east coast, stretching from Suffolk to Newcastle could also avoid showers.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/1_Screenshot-2025-05-31-154718.jpg\" alt=\"WXCHARTS maps show that where the rain could arrive in the west of the UK\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>WXCHARTS maps show that where the rain could arrive(Image: WXCHARTS)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \">The south and central parts of Scotland are expected to be the worst hit.
