A teenager<\/a> who has been missing from England for nearly two weeks is believed to be in Scotland, police have said. The 17-year-old vanished on Sunday, May 18.<\/p>\n

Identified by police only as James<\/a>, he was last seen in Morecambe, in the north west of England. Morecambe Police said he was last spotted on the coastal town’s Thornton Road.<\/p>\n

The sighting<\/a> of the teenager was at around 2.20pm on the day in question, and he was wearing a black t-shirt, tracksuit, silver chain and a cap at the time.<\/p>\n

Morecambe is 166 miles south of Glasgow, with the journey between them taking around two hours and 43 minutes in a car.<\/p>\n

A post on the Police Scotland Greater Glasgow Facebook<\/a> page said: “Can you help Morecambe Police? They believe James could be in the Glasgow area.”<\/p>\n

The force shared a post from Morecambe Police<\/a> about James’ disappearance. It read: “Have you seen James? James, 17, is missing from Morecambe.<\/p>\n

“He was last seen on Thornton Road on 18th May at around 2:20pm. Since James<\/a> was reported as missing to us, we have carried out enquiries offline, but are now asking for your help.<\/p>\n

“He is 5ft 6in with short hair, shaved on the sides with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a tracksuit<\/a>, black t-shirt, a silver chain and a cap.
