GT\u2019s replacement for Jos Buttler in the form of Kusal Mendis turned out to be a massive letdown, as he became one of the core reasons for GT\u2019s loss against Pandya and Company.\n<\/p>\n

Kusal disappointed both as a wicketkeeper and batter, dropping 2 crucial catches while getting himself out by hitting the wickets.\n<\/p>\n

This poor display of cricket led to many questioning his intent during the match, with some going so far as to claim the match was fixed, accusing Mendis of allegedly taking money from the Mumbai Indians.\n<\/p>\n
