{"id":147706,"date":"2025-05-31T20:47:31","date_gmt":"2025-05-31T20:47:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/147706\/"},"modified":"2025-05-31T20:47:31","modified_gmt":"2025-05-31T20:47:31","slug":"premiership-rugby-2024-25-semi-final-ties-times-and-dates-revealed-planet-rugby","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/147706\/","title":{"rendered":"Premiership Rugby 2024-25: Semi-final ties, times and dates revealed : Planet Rugby"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bath and Leicester Tigers will have home-field advantage in next weekend\u2019s Gallagher Premiership semi-finals after ending the season in the top two.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Johann van Graan\u2019s side, who have already won the Premiership Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup, were already assured of a home semi-final, but Leicester needed a win against Newcastle Falcons on the final day to secure their fate.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere, Sale Sharks and Bristol Bears have also both made the semi-finals after strong wins this weekend on a pulsating final day of the regular season.<\/p>\n<p>The semi-finals will both take place next weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Bath and Leicester Tigers to host home semi-finals<\/p>\n<p>Table-topping <a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetrugby.com\/team\/bath\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bath<\/a> will play host to West Country rivals Bristol in the first semi-final next Friday with the two sides already playing out some massive games this season. Pat Lam\u2019s men did the league double over their neighbours this season, winning 36-26 at The Rec in October before beating them 36-14 at the Principality Stadium last month.<\/p>\n<p>This will also be Bath\u2019s second successive home semi-final after they came second in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>That fixture will kick off at 19:45.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetrugby.com\/news\/sensational-henry-pollock-attracts-eyeballs-to-rugby-as-league-great-warns-nrl-could-come-sniffing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018Sensational\u2019 Henry Pollock \u2018attracts eyeballs\u2019 to rugby as league great warns NRL could come sniffing<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The other semi-final sees Leicester Tigers welcome Sale Sharks to Mattioli Woods Welford Road next Saturday, and this fixture has also been an entertaining match-up this season. Alex Sanderson\u2019s side won the first encounter 39-25 at the Salford Community Stadium in December, before Leicester got their revenge at home with a 44-34 win in May.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.planetrugby.com\/team\/leicester-tigers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leicester<\/a> will also host their first home semi-final since the 2021\/22 season, the same season they won the title under Steve Borthwick.<\/p>\n<p>That fixture will kick off at 15:30.<\/p>\n<p>Both matches will also be aired live on TNT Sports.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of the two respective semi-finals will book their place in the Premiership final at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.
