A man was taken to hospital after a emergency services responded to an incident in north Manchester.<\/p>\n

It happened on Harpurhey<\/a> Road in Harpurhey at around 10:30pm last night (Friday, May 30).<\/p>\n

The Manchester Evening News understands a man was found laid out in the road by concerned locals.<\/p>\n

Police and paramedics both responded after the members of the public raised the alarm.<\/p>\n

Pictures from the scene showed around eight police vehicles and an ambulance parked on the road, which was temporarily blocked off whilst crews dealt with the incident.<\/p>\n

A Greater Manchester Police<\/a> (GMP) spokesperson confirmed they had responded to a concern for the welfare of a man.<\/p>\n

He was taken to hospital by ambulance, they said.<\/p>\n
