Passkeys cannot be shared or guessed.

“Passkeys are unique to the website or app they are created for, so they cannot be used to login elsewhere like a reused password can.

“Plus, passkeys cannot be stolen in a data breach, as the passkeys are not stored on the company’s servers.

“But are instead are a private key stored only on your device, where biometric authentication (like face ID or Touch ID) is required to use the passkey.”

MICROSOFT is warning users that their passwords will disappear soon from a popular free app. The tech giant…

[3159
2062,21642,507,547,2060,53,2366,16,15
0":"post-148076","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-mobile","8":"tag-apps","9":"tag-cyber-crime-and-hacking","10":"tag-microsoft","11":"tag-mobile","12":"tag-section-techtech-news","13":"tag-technology","14":"tag-tips-tricks-and-life-hacks","15":"tag-uk","16":"tag-united-kingdom
["GET
