Emmerdale<\/a>\u2019s Eden Taylor-Draper<\/a> and Beth Cordingly<\/a> have shed some light on what viewers can expect for Belle Dingle<\/a> and Ruby Miligan in upcoming scenes. <\/p>\n

Belle, as viewers know, was abused by husband Tom King (James Chase) over a year-long period in a harrowing but powerful <\/a>domestic abuse storyline. <\/p>\n

Tom was sentenced to three years in prison, with Belle subsequently filing for divorce<\/a> as she looked to the future and took over Take A Vow in the wake of Leyla Harding\u2019s (Roxy Shahidi) tragic death. <\/p>\n

But just what does the future hold for her? That remains to be seen but star Eden teased what viewers can expect in a chat with Metro on the red carpet at the British Soap Awards 2025.<\/p>\n

\u2018I went through my new scripts last week,\u2019 she said with a smile, hinting of something positive, \u2018and maybe [something positive], yeah! Maybe.\u2019<\/p>\n

Consider us intrigued. <\/p>\n

Discussing if Belle is ready for romance after her ordeal, Eden added: \u2018I think that\u2019s a journey she\u2019ll have to explore and hopefully the audience can go on that with her and we explore the ups and downs of that.\u2019<\/p>\n

Upcoming scenes will see Belle taken aback when Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) suggests going into business with her<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Beth Cordingly, meanwhile, spoke to us about what\u2019s in store for Ruby Milligan next week, confirming that she hands herself into the police <\/a>over Anthony\u2019s murder following the discovery of a body. <\/p>\n

The soap star also branded the character of Ruby a \u2018gift of a part\u2019. \u2018<\/p>\n

When you come in and have that kind of storyline, you come in and everybody hates you, you unravel the layers and show why you\u2019re like that. <\/p>\n

\u2018I love those characters that are complicated, interesting and difficult and it\u2019s been a real privilege doing that storyline.\u2019<\/p>\n

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 or stream first from 6am on ITVX.<\/strong><\/p>\n
