Cesc Fabregas<\/a> has suggested that Como would consider a \u20ac40 million (\u00a334.7m) bid from Manchester United<\/a> for Assane Diao.<\/p>\n The 19-year-old joined Como in a \u20ac12m (\u00a310.4m) deal from Real Betis in the January transfer window and has made an immediate impact, scoring six goals in 12 Serie A appearances so far.<\/p>\n United scouts reportedly attended Como\u2019s 1-1 draw with Empoli last month in order to get a closer look on Diao, while Liverpool<\/a> and Newcastle<\/a> United have also been linked with a move for the versatile attacker.<\/p>\n Fabregas, who is Como\u2019s head coach, says the Italian club have a clear pathway for Diao and insists it is \u2018not a given\u2019 that the Senegal international will be move on in the summer transfer window.<\/p>\n \u2018We are trying to go for young, talented players who were not playing \u2013 they do well here and obviously their value increases,\u2019 Fabregas said.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\tGet personalised updates on Manchester United every day\t\t\t<\/p>\n Wake up to find news on your club in your inbox every morning with Metro\u2019s Football Newsletter. <\/p>\n Sign up to our newsletter<\/a> and then select your team in the link so we can send you football news tailored to you. <\/p>\n \t\t \u2018There is no mentality of speculating and selling, they come here to grow and improve the team.<\/p>\n \u2018Then obviously, Manchester [United] can come and ask for Diao by offering \u20ac40 million, but it is not a given that he will leave.<\/p>\n \u2018The objective is to create a path, with players who are functional to the characteristics, working with them.
