After closing Medicine Bar in 2011, the husband and wife team of Simon and Francesca Jones set out a new career of artisan baking.<\/p>\n
From their Wolverhampton headquarters, the couple perfected the craft of pastries, cakes and sourdough bread.<\/p>\n
While inspired by French and New York baking traditions, using locally sourced ethical ingredients are just as important, if not more for Medicine Bakery.<\/p>\n
Botanical Gardens customers will soon be able to sample Medicine Bakery’s coffee, cakes, pastries and savoury treats with a chance to dine on the stunning garden terrace.<\/p>\n
Opened in 1832, the historic 15-acre Grade II listed landscape is one of the UK\u2019s most significant botanical gardens.<\/p>\n
To visit Medicine Bakery\u2019s new caf\u00e9, you\u2019ll need a Birmingham Botanical Gardens day ticket \u2013 or instead become a Gardens Member for free year-round access.<\/p>\n
