{"id":14970,"date":"2025-04-12T23:12:17","date_gmt":"2025-04-12T23:12:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/14970\/"},"modified":"2025-04-12T23:12:17","modified_gmt":"2025-04-12T23:12:17","slug":"i-dont-think-i-could-cope","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/14970\/","title":{"rendered":"I Don&#8217;t Think I Could Cope"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/elizabeth-day\/\" id=\"auto-tag_elizabeth-day\" data-tag=\"elizabeth-day\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elizabeth Day<\/a> revealed she was approached to star in <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/the-real-housewives-of-london\/\" id=\"auto-tag_the-real-housewives-of-london\" data-tag=\"the-real-housewives-of-london\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Real Housewives of London<\/a> but turned down the opportunity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/hayu\/\" id=\"auto-tag_hayu\" data-tag=\"hayu\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hayu<\/a> is developing its first original series, adapting the Bravo franchise, and setting it in London.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDuring an appearance on <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/alison-hammond\/\" id=\"auto-tag_alison-hammond\" data-tag=\"alison-hammond\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Alison Hammond<\/a>\u2018s podcast <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/smart-tv-podcast-with-alison-hammond\/id1793145011?i=1000703100035\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Smart TV<\/a>, Day revealed she had an informal conversation about joining the cast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cI did have a conversation about it, but it was very informal, and it would be brilliant, but it would remove my enjoyment of the show as a viewer,\u201d the journalist and host of the podcast How to Fail said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDay, who is a super fan of The Real Housewives franchise explained why she wouldn\u2019t have been able to be part of the series.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t think I could cope,\u201d she added. \u201cWell, I\u2019ve already said no, but I couldn\u2019t cope because there\u2019s also a lot of online attention that these housewives get. I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ve got the cojones for it anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHammond noted that she would want to be a housewife, but said she wasn\u2019t a wife.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter. That\u2019s an ironic term,\u201d Day added, noting that many of the Housewives are not married. \u201cSo many of them are these badass businesswomen now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe This Morning host said she wanted \u201cto bring the drama\u201d as a housewife. Hammond was so ready to be a housewife she even came up with a tagline, saying it would be, \u201cI love a jewel.
