Prince William felt ‘great sadness’ after Harry’s life-changing decision\u00a0<\/p>\n

Prince William felt ‘great sadness’ after his brother, Prince Harry shocked the world and the royal family with his life-changing decision.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to step down from their senior royal roles in 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Soon after their step, a meeting popularly known as\u00a0Sandringham Summit was held, which was attended by late Queen Elizabeth, then-Prince of Wales Charles, William and Harry to determine the Sussexes’ future in the royal fold.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a new documentary on Channel 5, titled Megxit: Inside The Sandringham Summit, royal experts unveiled the future King’s possible feelings over losing Harry.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to the Mirror, royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths said, “William must have felt such a sense of relief, but also great sadness because he was really, officially losing his brother.”<\/p>\n

She added, “What I heard at the time was that William started grieving for his brother at that point, really grieving, like he’d lost, not only his mother, years ago, but his brother as well and I think he was just genuinely quite sad, and completely broken.”<\/p>\n

Reportedly, the royal siblings spent some time in Sandringham Gardens after the top secretive meeting to clear any kind of reservations. “Harry expected to be treated by a harangue from his brother,” royal author Andrew Morton shared.<\/p>\n

Another royal expert Jack Royston claimed that Harry got the chance to explain himself to his brother about his departure.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“William didn’t argue back, he listened.
