The Duke of Sussex is thought to have consulted his uncle, Earl Charles Spencer, about the prospect of changing his surname to Spencer.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the People\u2019s Channel, Anne hit out at Charles\u2019s estranged youngest son who according to the Daily Mail, addressed the issue with Earl Spencer during a trip to the UK.<\/p>\n

In a viral moment from episode two, Meghan corrected actress Mindy Kaling for calling her \u201cMeghan Markle\u201d, saying \u201cI\u2019m Sussex now\u201d.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the significance of the name change, she said: \u201cYou have kids, and you go, \u2018no, I share my name with my children.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

“I didn’t know how meaningful it would be to me but it just means so much to go ‘This is OUR family name. Our little family name,'” she insisted.<\/p>\n
