Jeremy Clarkson<\/a> reunited with his Grand Tour<\/a> co-star Richard Hammond<\/a> for the first time on-screen since the Amazon Prime series ended in 2024 \u2013 and had to pay him a \u201chuge sum of money\u201d. In the latest episode of Clarkson\u2019s Farm<\/a>, Jeremy invited the former Top Gear presenter to Diddly Squat farm to help him out with a big task.<\/p>\n

He travelled \u201chundreds and hundreds of miles away from civilisation\u201d to visit Hammond in a small Herefordshire village to recruit his car restoration services. Jeremy wanted to chrome a tractor and lighten its weight so he could suspend it from the ceiling of his new pub, The Farmer\u2019s Dog.<\/p>\n

Richard wasn\u2019t quite on board, explaining that it would cost around \u00a320,000. Clarkson asked him: \u201cAre we talking hundreds? Thousands? Tens of thousands?\u201d as Richard replied: \u201cTens of thousands.\u201d<\/p>\n

He choked out: \u201cWhy didn\u2019t you tell me off before I set off that it was going to be more than the GDP of most European countries?\u201d as Richard clapped back: \u201cThen you wouldn\u2019t have come.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clarkson went on to ask his pal if he would have charged \u201ca normal farmer\u201d the same amount for the work, and Richard joked: \u201cWhat normal farmer would chrome his tractor?\u201d<\/p>\n

Jeremy said he was \u201cforced to agree\u201d to the terms as the pub was just five weeks away from opening \u2013 and was desperate to bring his idea to life. He transformed the former rural pub The Windmill in Asthall into The Farmer\u2019s Dog \u2013 after his other co-star James May<\/a> launched his own pub in Wiltshire back in 2014.<\/p>\n

Richard\u2019s official renovation business The Smallest Cog shared a post from the episode, writing on Instagram<\/a>: \u201cCatch our little cameo in season four episode six of Clarkson\u2019s Farm – Richard Ham (the man not the pig) gives Jeremy a helping hand.<\/p>\n

\u201cNext time you\u2019re at the Farmer\u2019s Dog, have a glimpse up to the ceiling and check out the chrome tractor. In hindsight, we should\u2019ve written something rude underneath.
