{"id":151825,"date":"2025-06-02T10:09:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T10:09:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/151825\/"},"modified":"2025-06-02T10:09:09","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T10:09:09","slug":"cut-price-wirtz-deal-to-be-completed-as-leverkusen-leverage-destroyed-by-agent-as-bluff-fails","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/151825\/","title":{"rendered":"Cut-price Wirtz deal to be completed as Leverkusen leverage &#8216;destroyed&#8217; by agent as &#8216;bluff&#8217; fails"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Liverpool are set to complete a cut-price deal for Florian Wirtz after Bayer Leverkusen\u2019s negotiating tactics were \u201cdestroyed\u201d by the player\u2019s agent, according to a football finance expert.<\/p>\n<p>The Reds have flown out of the blocks in the summer transfer market with their early Premier League title win helping them getting their transfer plans moving.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/every-premier-league-transfer-release-completed-summer-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jeremie Frimpong has already signed in a \u00a329.5m deal from Bayer Leverkusen<\/strong><\/a>, while Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez has reportedly agreed personal terms ahead of a potential move.<\/p>\n<p>But their marquee signing of the summer would be Wirtz with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/liverpool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Liverpool<\/strong><\/a> reportedly making two bids for the Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder so far.<\/p>\n<p>Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Liverpool are \u2018optimistic\u2019 that they can get a deal over the line with more negotiations coming this week.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"noopener nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FabrizioRomano\/status\/1929371608839332061\" target=\"_blank\">Romano wrote on X<\/a>: \u2018Liverpool remain confident to finalize Florian Wirtz deal as new round of talks has been scheduled this week.
