It&#8217;s free. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the biggest of the events scheduled for the weekend is the <b>Black Sabbath Back To The Beginning gig<\/b> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/all-about\/villa-park-stadium\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Villa Park Stadium;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Villa Park Stadium<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ozzy Osbourne&#8217;s final ever performance is set for July 5 and he&#8217;s bringing with him a mega line-up of superstars, including Hollywood favourite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/whats-on\/music-nightlife-news\/huge-hollywood-star-host-black-31022017\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Jason Momoa who will host the day;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Jason Momoa who will host the day<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Pantera and many more are scheduled to perform at the day-long gig, with stars from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/whats-on\/music-nightlife-news\/black-sabbath-add-steven-tyler-31556894\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:bands like Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Guns N Roses billed too;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">bands like Aerosmith, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Guns N Roses billed too<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sabbath aren&#8217;t the only Birmingham legends saying goodbye in their hometown that weekend.<\/p>\n<p><b>Jeff Lynne&#8217;s ELO will be at the Utilita Arena<\/b> (that&#8217;s the NIA to old-school Brummies) on July 5 and 6 for two goodbye performances.<\/p>\n<p>The Mr Blue Sky hitmakers will be performing the Over and Out tour two nights on the bounce due to &#8216;phenomenal demand&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The third of Birmingham&#8217;s big music venues, the BP Pulse Arena over at the NEC, has a gig on July 5 too.<\/p>\n<p><b>Billy Ocean will be performing fan favourites at a &#8216;greatest hits&#8217; show<\/b> supported by German musician Ada Morghe.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s perhaps the least expensive of the weekend&#8217;s big shows, with tickets from \u00a336.50 (that&#8217;s in comparison to the \u00a3197.50 cheapest passes for Black Sabbath and the \u00a376.50 cost to see ELO).<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not all music on Super Weekend either.<\/p>\n<p>Down at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.birminghammail.co.uk\/all-about\/edgbaston\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Edgbaston;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Edgbaston<\/a>, cricket fans will be heading to see the <b>England v India Test Match<\/b> , scheduled to take place between July 2-6.<\/p>\n<p>The two men&#8217;s teams, among the best in the world, will face off as Shubman Gill and Ben Stokes lead them into the blockbuster fixture.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in the city centre, the <b>Colmore Food Festival<\/b> is returning to Cathedral Square on July 4 and July 5.<\/p>\n<p>Around 30,000 people head up to Pigeon Park on Colmore Food Festival days, dining on portions from the city&#8217;s finest establishments.<\/p>\n<p>Expect snacks in the sun, locally-brewed beers, talks and performances in the grounds of the city&#8217;s resplendent cathedral.<\/p>\n<p>To mark the busy Birmingham weekend, venues across the city are planning special events for fans, which we&#8217;ll share as we approach July.
