MARCUS RASHFORD has been spotted soaking up the sun as he ponders a potentially career-defining summer.<\/p>\n

The out-of-favour Manchester United<\/a> forward hit the beach with a mystery blonde in St Tropez over the weekend.<\/p>\n

Rashford<\/a>, 27, joined a group of pals for a hard-earned post-season break. <\/p>\n

The England forward looked relaxed as the mercury climbed above 30C on the French Riviera. <\/p>\n

Rashford turned heads with a striking Louis Vuitton outfit as the friends relaxed on a luxury boat.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old has been single since breaking up with Love Islander Grace Jackson<\/a> just before Christmas. <\/p>\n

Rashford later hit the waves on a jet ski, fresh from recapturing his appetite for football<\/a> after a nightmare slump at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils academy graduate was sent out on loan to Aston Villa<\/a> by Ruben Amorim in January. <\/p>\n

His relationship with Amorim broke down after Rashford admitted he wanted a “new challenge”<\/a> away from the North West.<\/p>\n

Rashford proved a big hit after his move down the M6, scoring four goals in 17 games before a hamstring injury cut his season short<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But the striker’s future remains uncertain heading into the off-season.<\/p>\n

SunSport revealed last month that Rashford is desperate to play Champions League football<\/a> next term.<\/p>\n

Neither United or Villa are able to offer that.<\/p>\n

Rashford enjoyed a topless workout session at an athletics track in France over the weekend. <\/p>\n

The forward looked lean and fast as he went through some sprints, captioning a video on Instagram: “The work don\u2019t stop! Let\u2019s go.”<\/p>\n

Rashford<\/a> could yet hold out for a dream move to Barcelona.<\/p>\n

He first spoke with the Catalan giants in January<\/a> after expressing a desire for a “new challenge”. <\/p>\n

His wages proved a stumbling block<\/a> in getting a loan deal across the line.<\/p>\n

But Rashford’s representatives have since met with the LaLiga champions<\/a> over a permanent deal. <\/p>\n

A return to Villa also seems off the cards after they slipped into the Europa League spots<\/a> on the final day of the season.<\/p>\n

Unai Emery<\/a>‘s side had the option to buy Rashford for \u00a340m after his loan.<\/p>\n

Writing on Instagram, Rashford said: “It is a special club and I appreciated the way Villa fans embraced me with open arms.<\/p>\n

“It is a huge disappointment not to have made the Champions League which everyone worked so hard all season for but I know this club and team will come back stronger.”<\/p>\n

Amorim appears to have already brought in Rashford’s replacement, with Matheus Cunha arriving in a \u00a362.5m deal on Sunday<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cunha has reportedly taken Rashford’s No10 shirt<\/a> at the Theatre of Dreams.<\/p>\n
