Snake Island, which is officially known as Ilha da Queimada Grande, is one of those places that remains hidden off the coast of Brazil, and it\u2019s not the typical island paradise. There are no beach resorts, no hiking trails, and definitely no tourists. However, it is popular for housing thousands of slithering snakes that have made it infamous across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>Snake Island isn\u2019t just what it\u2019s called, it\u2019s a literal description. The island is one of the few places on Earth where humans are banned, and for a very good reason.
