{"id":152953,"date":"2025-06-02T20:15:15","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T20:15:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/152953\/"},"modified":"2025-06-02T20:15:15","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T20:15:15","slug":"bryan-mbeumo-wants-to-join-manchester-united-as-ineos-prepare-talks-to-sign-brentford-star","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/152953\/","title":{"rendered":"Bryan Mbeumo wants to join Manchester United as Ineos prepare talks to sign Brentford star"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Manchester United have agreed to sign Matheus Cunha and could now add another Premier League attacker to Ruben Amorim\u2019s squad.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sunday transfers are a rare sight, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/transfer-news\/matheus-cunha-to-manchester-united-confirmed-as-wolverhampton-wanderers-star-becomes-first-summer-signing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester United announced an agreement for Matheus Cunha<\/a> from Wolverhampton Wanderers.<\/p>\n<p>After weeks of speculation, United confirmed Cunha\u2019s arrival in a big-money move, pending visa and international clearance.<\/p>\n<p>Cunha provides an immediate boost to United\u2019s attacking output, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/tag\/ruben-amorim\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ruben Amorim<\/a> needs more.<\/p>\n<p>United mustered just 44 goals in 38 Premier League games and it\u2019s clear that numbers in the final third are the top priority.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/transfer-news\/manchester-united-hold-talks-with-bryan-mbeumo-ineos-have-specific-driving-force-behind-potential-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">United held talks to sign Bryan Mbeumo<\/a> last week and a move for the Brentford attacker appears to be on.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"669\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/GettyImages-2176935589-1024x669.jpg\" alt=\"Photo by Ryan Pierse\/Getty Images\" class=\"wp-image-257686\" \/>Photo by Ryan Pierse\/Getty Images<strong>Bryan Mbeumo wants to sign for Manchester United<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Athletic\u2019s David Ornstein now reports that Mbeumo has decided he wants a move to Old Trafford.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s claimed that United are now set to open talks with Brentford over a deal to sign Mbeumo.<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are all understood to be keen on landing Mbeumo\u2019s signature.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, in a major sign of United\u2019s pulling power, Mbeumo is understood to favour United over those clubs.<\/p>\n<p>United may not have European football next season, but Mbeumo still wants to join Amorim\u2019s project.<\/p>\n<p>The Cameroon international hit 20 goals and seven assists in 38 league games for Brentford last season.<\/p>\n<p>Still only 25, Mbeumo has proven himself in the Premier League and would be another major addition to United\u2019s attacking ranks after landing Cunha.<\/p>\n<p><strong>United will move for Bryan Mbeumo regardless of Bruno Fernandes situation<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cunha and Mbeumo offer fine versatility in the sense that they will likely be viewed as number 10s in Amorim\u2019s 3-4-2-1 system, but could also play as strikers if needed.<\/p>\n<p>Mbeumo won\u2019t come cheap, and some will wonder whether his potential arrival means Bruno Fernandes is on his way out.<\/p>\n<p>Saudi Arabian side <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unitedinfocus.com\/news\/how-bruno-fernandes-has-reacted-to-al-hilal-contract-agreement-man-utd-captains-telling-stance-on-ineos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Al-Hilal want to sign Bruno<\/a>, with United potentially tempted to cash in on the skipper.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Manchester United still intend to try for Bryan Mbeumo even if Bruno Fernandes stays.
