Hot on the heels of a lease extension <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/news\/boxpark-shoreditch-has-officially-been-saved-from-closure-for-now-020325\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">saving the brand\u2019s OG Shoreditch site from closure<\/a>\u00a0comes the opening of Boxhall City in nearby Liverpool Street.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The first of a series of spin-off concepts planned by the brand, the 17,000 square-foot space\u00a0isn\u2019t made from shipping containers like the chain\u2019s other locations but is instead a bricks-and-mortar venue that takes its inspiration from the ever-popular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/shopping\/chelsea-market-new-york-ny\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chelsea Market<\/a> in\u00a0downtown Manhattan. First announced all the way back in 2022, Boxhall was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/news\/boxpark-is-opening-a-massive-new-venue-in-the-city-of-london-later-this-year-071324\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">originally slated to open in 2024<\/a>, so we\u2019re thoroughly excited to finally check it out.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s everything you need to know about the buzzy new opening.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Where is Boxhall City?<\/p>\n<p>Boxhall City has taken over the historic Metropolitan Arcade, which first opened in 1912 and took its name from its location directly above the railway tracks of the Metropolitan Line.\u00a0Located just around the corner from Liverpool Street station at <strong>Boxhall City is at\u00a0<\/strong><strong>1-27 The Arcade, Liverpool Street, EC2M 7PN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"7c145935-293c-1984-6fa8-2001cb38b3e1\" class=\"photo lazy inline\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"lazy-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/1744510343_350_image.webp.webp\" alt=\"Boxhall City\" data-caption=\"\" data-credit=\"Photograph: Boxpark\" data-width-class=\"\" data-image-id=\"106263464\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\nPhotograph: Boxpark&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Full list of food vendors and bars at Boxhall City<\/p>\n<p>Boxhall City features 13 food\u00a0retail spaces, and encompasses a huge variety of global cuisines. First up is Ms Joyce K, star of Channel 4\u2019sFive Star Chef: Britain\u2019s Next Great Chef, who will be offering up a Congolese-inspired menu concept, Bil\u00e9yi. Two-time\u00a0Great British Menu\u00a0champion\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/restaurants\/londons-hottest-chef#jamescochran\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">James Cochran<\/a>\u00a0takes over the kitchen later in the year, serving up his famous fusion of British and Caribbean cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside these are two bars serving up a menu of\u00a013 cocktails ranging from classics like the Boxhall margarita and espresso martini to unique inventions like the saigon frapp\u00e9 (Hennessy, cold brew espresso and condensed milk garnished with Mikado sticks), plus a curated list of mainly European wines, a wide selection of no\/low-alcohol options and draught beers, including signature pours from Dalston\u2019s 40FT Brewery.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s not all! Later this year Boxhall will also be opening a rooftop bar featuring panoramic views over the City, perfect for post-work drinks if you work near Liverpool Street.<\/p>\n<p>Keen to check out the major new opening?
