That involvement<br \/>\nwas clear as soon as the race ended, with the teenager\u2019s phone ringing almost<br \/>\nimmediately.<\/p>\n<p>Evenepoel, who is currently preparing for the Crit\u00e9rium du<br \/>\nDauphin\u00e9, made time to personally congratulate the rising star. According to De<br \/>\nKeersmaeker, the call was no accident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe had even waited especially to go to training so he could<br \/>\ncall if we would win. Patrick (Patrick Evenepoel) said that Remco had predicted<br \/>\nit. That&#8217;s why he had waited. That was cool.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Evenepoel\u2019s thoughtful gesture came just days before one of<br \/>\nthe biggest races of the season.
