The 51-year-old British icon<\/a> was lined up as a bridesmaid<\/a>, alongside Towie<\/a> star Gemma Collins<\/a> and actress Claire Sweeney<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But insiders said Kate pulled out when she discovered PR supremo Fran<\/a> \u2014 her former friend \u2014 was attending the wedding in central London on Saturday. <\/p>\n

The pair got to know each other in the 1990s when Fran would plan parties for Jude Law<\/a> and Sadie Frost<\/a> \u2014 who were good pals with Kate.<\/p>\n

But their high-profile friendship ended in 2018, after Fran was said to have accidentally sent Kate a photo of her with a critical comment.<\/p>\n

A source said: \u201cKate snubbing Fat Tony\u2019s big day<\/a> was the talk of the wedding.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe wanted to have Kate there.<\/p>\n

“But after she found out Fran was going, she said she couldn\u2019t make it.<\/p>\n

\u201cTony<\/a> is said to have known for a while that Kate wouldn\u2019t be going if Fran was. <\/p>\n

“She was really missed and the guests were talking about it.<\/p>\n

\u201cFran was on great form but didn\u2019t say anything about it. <\/p>\n

“It\u2019s all rather sad that they couldn\u2019t put on brave faces to celebrate Tony\u2019s big day.\u201d<\/p>\n
