A woman was found unresponsive by police officers after being sexually assaulted<\/a> in Bristol.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, April 27, just before 7pm, the victim was found in Easton<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A woman was sexually assaulted<\/a> in Claremont Street, near the junction of Easton Way and Stapleton Road.<\/p>\n

Officers were flagged down by a member of the public who reported the incident.<\/p>\n

Police found the woman unresponsive and the ambulance were called.<\/p>\n

She was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.<\/p>\n

A man is due in court<\/a> in July having been charged in connection with the incident.<\/p>\n

As part of ongoing enquiries, police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police<\/a> said: “If you can help, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5225117880, or complete our online appeals form<\/a>.<\/p>\n
