Meghan Markle worked so hard to get her lifestyle website up and running<\/a>, and then after one day \u2014 actually, one hour \u2014 it came to an end, alarmingly quick, with one royal expert calling the Duchess<\/a> out.<\/p>\n According to Jane Barr, author of From Berkshire to Buckingham, the name of her website \u2014 As Ever \u2014 doesn\u2019t matchup with this blink-and-you-miss-it business<\/a>.<\/p>\n Barr was in shock to learn Meghan was closing up shop after selling out in an hour<\/a>, which she discusses over on her Substack.<\/p>\n READ MORE: Heartbroken Prince Harry lashes out at Diana\u2019s sisters for refusing to see Meghan as his mother\u2019s true heir<\/a>READ MORE: Meghan Markle’s ‘tough week’ as she’s branded ‘hot’ while giving ‘outrageous demands’<\/a><\/p>\n Barr said: \u201cFrankly, my jaw was on the floor. What in the world?? She just launched.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cIt was \u2014 we are assured \u2014 a gratifying smash success. Now she is moving on?\u201d<\/p>\n It\u2019s not to say Meghan is done-done, and won\u2019t restock, but it seems she had enough product for that first day, and when it sold out, she was done playing Business Barbie and wanted to go back to hanging out with \u201cH\u201d and the kids. It definitely stuck out to Barr, that after one day, she called it quits.<\/p>\n Barr said: \u201cMeghan has no longterm projects. None. Which is ironic since she named her brand \u2018As Ever.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cI have some sympathy for people with lot of ideas. I have lots of ideas.
