Mr. @jmalbares conveyed his understanding and the unequivocal support of Spain for India\u2019s efforts to combat terrorism, and reaffirmed the importance of global peace. He emphasised that terrorism will never prevail and that Spain stood with India on this issue,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<p>The parliamentary delegation met with intellectuals, academicians, think tanks and civil society representatives at a discussion hosted by Spain India Council Foundation or Fundacion Consejo Espana India.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the meeting, they reiterated India\u2019s firm stance against terrorism and its unwavering commitment to global peace. Members of the foundation expressed staunch support for India\u2019s efforts and discussed strategies to combat terrorism,\u201d the embassy said in another X post.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier the delegation reiterated India\u2019s resolve for a \u201csafer and more compassionate world\u201d during a meeting with an organisation of terror victims in Spain, as it shared New Delhi\u2019s experience in confronting cross-border threats.<\/p>\n<p>The group is one of the seven multi-party delegations that have been tasked to visit 33 global capitals as part of India\u2019s diplomatic outreach following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHosted by Asociaci\u00f3n de V\u00edctimas del Terrorismo, an organisation that stands with over 4,800 victims of terror, the All-Party Parliamentary Delegation held a heartfelt exchange on the pain and resilience born from terrorism,\u201d the Indian embassy in Spain said in a post on X.<\/p>\n<p>STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe delegation shared India\u2019s experience in confronting cross-border threats, reaffirming a shared resolve to build a safer, more compassionate world,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, the group will meet members of the Spanish government and civil society representatives to present India\u2019s stance on zero-tolerance against terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, the delegation, which arrived here from Latvia, paid homage to the bust of Mahatma Gandhi.<\/p>\n<p>They also interacted with members of the Indian diaspora.<\/p>\n<p>In a post on X, Kanimozhi said, \u201cAs part of the all-party parliamentary delegation\u2019s engagements in Spain yesterday, I was delighted to meet the Tamil community, who were filled with warmth and love. It was wonderful to connect with so many Indians living far from home.\u201d Besides Kanimozhi, the group includes Rajeev Kumar Rai of SP, Brijesh Chowta of BJP, Prem Chand Gupta of RJD, Ashok Mittal of AAP and Manjeev Singh Puri, Former Ambassador of India to EU and Nepal.<\/p>\n<p>Its visit is part of India\u2019s broader outreach with key international partners to build an international alliance for cooperation in addressing terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD<\/p>\n<p>Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after the Pahalgam terror attack, with India carrying out precision strikes on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in the early hours of May 7.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan attempted to attack Indian military bases on May 8, 9, and 10.
