{"id":154179,"date":"2025-06-03T07:05:14","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T07:05:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/154179\/"},"modified":"2025-06-03T07:05:14","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T07:05:14","slug":"germany-says-it-has-approved-over-550m-worth-of-arms-exports-to-israel-since-october-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/154179\/","title":{"rendered":"Germany says it has approved over $550M worth of arms exports to Israel since October 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BERLIN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Germany said Monday that it has approved nearly half a billion euros worth of weapons sales to Israel since October 2023.<\/p>\n<p>From Oct. 7, 2023 to May 13, 2025, Germany issued export licenses for arms deliveries to Israel totaling \u20ac485.1 million ($554.3 million), according to the government\u2019s response to a question in parliament from the Left Party.<\/p>\n<p>The approved exports include a broad range of military equipment including weapons systems, ammunition, radar and communication devices and parts for armored vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>The government said it had provided only limited information about the nature of the exports, citing a Federal Constitutional Court ruling that restricts the disclosure of details which could reveal Israel\u2019s current military capabilities or needs.
