{"id":154190,"date":"2025-06-03T07:11:14","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T07:11:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/154190\/"},"modified":"2025-06-03T07:11:14","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T07:11:14","slug":"inflation-data-ftse-100-dax-cac-40","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/154190\/","title":{"rendered":"inflation data, FTSE 100, DAX, CAC 40"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Swiss bank Julius Baer announces nearly $160 million in cost cuts<\/p>\n<p>Swiss bank <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/BAER-CH\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Julius Baer<\/a> plans to cut costs by 130 million Swiss Francs ($158.8 million) by 2028 as part of its strategic review.<\/p>\n<p>The bank said that the savings will be in addition to its target to lower expenses by 110 million Swiss Francs ($134 million), which was announced in February. The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.IXIC\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nasdaq Composite<\/a>\u00a0advanced 0.67%, and the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.DJI\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dow<\/a>\u00a0added 35.41 points, or 0.08%.<\/p>\n<p>Stocks ended Monday higher despite rising tensions between China and the United States, with Beijing\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/06\/02\/china-says-the-us-undermined-geneva-trade-deal-after-trump-accusations.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">countering President Donald Trump&#8217;s accusations<\/a>\u00a0that it had violated a temporary trade agreement.
