Manchester United have kicked off their summer rebuild with a big money deal for Matheus Cunha.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Sunday afternoon, Manchester United<\/a> confirmed the arrival of Matheus Cunha<\/a> in a \u00a362.5 million deal from Wolves.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old Brazilian is expected to sign a five-year deal with United and become a key figure in Ruben Amorim\u2019s rebuild.<\/p>\n

Cunha is set to earn \u00a3200,000 per week <\/a>at United and reports claim he will wear the No.10 shirt<\/a> previously worn by Marcus Rashford.<\/p>\n

Cunha will add firepower and creativity<\/a> to United\u2019s squad, and his injury record suggests he will be a reliable figure for Amorim.<\/p>\n

In recent years, United have played more matches than any European side<\/a> which has led to some serious injury problems.<\/p>\n

However, United\u2019s full focus in 2025\/26 will be on the Premier League as defeat in the Europa League final means the Red Devils failed to qualify.<\/p>\n

In 2024\/25, Matheus Cunha<\/a> made 36 appearances across all competitions for Wolves, and the only Premier League matches missed were due to suspension.<\/p>\n

While there may be some concerns about Cunha\u2019s attitude<\/a> and discipline, there will be none about his injury record.<\/p>\n

Despite reaching a European final in his first season as Manchester United\u2019s head coach, Ruben Amorim wants to win the Premier League<\/a> and views it as the most important competition to succeed in.<\/p>\n

So far, Amorim has struggled to pick up results in the Premier League, but next season there will be more time for Amorim to train players at Carrington<\/a> between matches with United mostly playing just once per week.<\/p>\n

Cunha has become a star in the Premier League<\/a> and he arrives at Old Trafford with over two years of experience in English football.<\/p>\n
