{"id":154656,"date":"2025-06-03T11:21:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T11:21:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/154656\/"},"modified":"2025-06-03T11:21:10","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T11:21:10","slug":"gunshots-fired-in-disorder-on-birmingham-street-injuring-woman-as-police-recover-sawn-off-shotgun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/154656\/","title":{"rendered":"Gunshots fired in disorder on Birmingham street injuring woman as police recover sawn-off shotgun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman was left with a shotgun wound following the incident on Kenrick Croft, <a href=\"https:\/\/plus.expressandstar.com\/news\/local-hubs\/birmingham\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Castle Vale,<\/a> at around 2am on Sunday (June 1).<\/p>\n<p>Police investigating the disorder have recovered a sawn-off shotgun and ammunition.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement on Tuesday morning,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westmidlands.police.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0West Midlands Police<\/a> said: &#8220;It&#8217;s understood a group were involved in a melee but no-one was present when officers arrived.
