“Hi everyone, hope everyone’s doing well,” Cowan said in a recent social media clip. “I’m just jumping on here really quickly to raise a bit of an issue that’s going on TikTok at the minute.<\/p>\n
“Erm, there are a number of accounts that aren’t mine that are posing to be me like this one,” she continued as a picture of the account in question appeared on-screen. <\/p>\n
Cowan went on: “This is not me, never has been, will never be. So if this is your account, please just take it down or pose as a fan account, that’s fine, just not posing to be me.<\/p>\n
“It’s never been my second account, and a lot of these videos I’d never post anyway. I just don’t want people to fall for it and think, ‘Oh, she’s made a second account’, because it’s obviously generating a lot of views and followers. So please block it and report it.”<\/p>\n

But the impostors didn’t stop there. “And then… this one too. Not me. I don’t have a private account. Please report and block and do not follow it,” she continued.<\/p>\n
And there was a third fake account Cowan was keen to highlight: “And this one even more so… at least this one’s spelt my name right but it’s still not me.<\/p>\n
“Please report and block, let’s get them taken down because they’re not me and they’re taking my videos and using them for their own benefit.”<\/p>\n
Setting the record straight, Cowan said: “This one is my only TikTok account and will be for the foreseeable and I’ll let you know if there’s a different one. <\/p>\n
