Queen Camilla<\/a>‘s approach to Prince Harry<\/a>‘s feud with the Royal Family has been revealed by a source, who claimed the Duke will unlikely ever reconcile with the Firm<\/a>. The Duke of Sussex has been embroiled in an ongoing rift with the royals since his sensational departure in 2020, when he stepped down as a senior working member of the Royal Family and moved to the US with his wife, Meghan Markle<\/a>, to be financially independent.<\/p>\n

Since then, Harry has made a string of bombshell claims about the royals, including in his memoir, Spare, but recently he declared that he wishes to reconcile with them. However, sources dismissed any chances of reconciliation between the two camps<\/a>, saying that the royals will likely be stern against the prince.<\/p>\n

They told People<\/a> magazine that King Charles is surrounded by voices that are not “encouraging” regarding the rift with the Duke of Sussex, including Prince William<\/a> and Queen Camilla, both of whom Harry wrote about in Spare.<\/p>\n

One source told the outlet that the Queen simply “stays out of it”.<\/p>\n

The Duke of Sussex released his bombshell book in January 2021 and in it, he painted his stepmother in a less than favourable light.<\/p>\n

The Queen and King Charles married in 2005, eight years after Princess Diana’s death.<\/p>\n

In Spare, Harry mentioned Camilla several times and accused her of being “dangerous” and leaking negative stories to the press, allegedly “sacrificing him on her personal PR altar”.<\/p>\n

He also pondered whether she would become his and William\u2019s “wicked stepmother” before her marriage to Charles.<\/p>\n

Harry wrote: “I recall wondering, right before the tea, if she\u2019d be mean to me. If she\u2019d be like all the wicked stepmothers in storybooks. But she wasn\u2019t.”<\/p>\n

The Queen was reportedly left “hurt” by the claims while the King was said to be furious with his son.<\/p>\n

Last month, Harry gave a new bombshell interview to the BBC<\/a> after he lost a High Court appeal over his security arrangements while in the UK.<\/p>\n

The Duke told the broadcaster that his father will not speak to him and he does not know how much longer the King has left.<\/p>\n

He appeared emotional and close to tears during much of the sit-down chat and described his court defeat as a “good old-fashioned establishment stitch-up” while also expressing hopes of a reconciliation with his family.<\/p>\n

The prince said: “Of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things but there’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious.”<\/p>\n
