The previous record holder, 2009\u2019s\u00a0The Final Destination, reached $187 million, but the new sequel has left that record in the dust, pulling in over $230 million so far. That\u2019s in just two and a half weeks of release! Now, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whentostream.com\/news\/final-destination-bloodlines-digital-streaming-release-date-revealed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">When to Stream<\/a>, word is going around that Final Destination: Bloodlines might be getting a digital release in just two more weeks, on <strong>June 17<\/strong>th. We\u2019ll have to wait and see if that turns out to be true. As When to Stream noted, \u201cWarner Bros has neither announced nor confirmed the release date. As always, release dates are subject to change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Final Destination: Bloodlines\u00a0has the following synopsis:\u00a0Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.\u00a0It has been rated R for strong violent \/ grisly accidents, and language.<\/p>\n<p>The late, great Tony Todd is joined in the cast by Brec Bassinger, Richard Harmon, Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Owen Patrick Joyner, Max Lloyd-Jones, Andrew Tinpo Lee, April Amber Telek, and Alex Zahara.<\/p>\n<p>Jon Watts, director of\u00a0Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far from Home, and\u00a0Spider-Man: No Way Home, produced\u00a0Final Destination: Bloodlines\u00a0with Perry, Dianne McGunigle, and Sheila Hanahan Taylor. Watts came up with the initial idea, which was fleshed out into a screenplay by\u00a0Lori Evans Taylor and Guy Busick.<\/p>\n<p>Final Destination is my favorite horror franchise of the 2000s, and I\u2019m hyped that it has finally made a comeback. I had been waiting for this new sequel ever since the opening weekend of\u00a0Final Destination 5\u00a0way back in 2011 \u2013 and I hope it won\u2019t be another long wait before the next one. I\u2019m anxious to find out what\u2019s next. Will they go for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joblo.com\/final-destination-charli-xcx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Charli xcx pitch<\/a>? Will they circle back to the \u201cfirst responders\u201d script they were working on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.joblo.com\/new-final-destination-movie-takes-place-in-the-world-of-first-responders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a few years ago<\/a>?
